Putting into operation of grinding machine OptoTech SM 201

October 23, 2015 JSC GERMANIUM has successfully completed commissioning works and putting into operation of grinding machine OptoTech SM 201.

In the middle of 2014 the enterprise signed the contract for production and supply of the unique spherical grinding machine, which is for processing of large-size blanks from Germanium and Silicon. Supplying company is German Company OptoTech, who faced with the task of designing problem and production of such equipment for the first time.

Our enterprise has technology of growing germanium ingots of large diameter (till 400 mm). And now with the help of spherical grinding machine OptoTech SM 201, we could extend list of spherical blanks with diameter up to 400 mm.

Accuracy of machine allows to reach value of tolerance under basic geometrical parameters in the range of 0,05 mm.

Due to introduction of the new equipment, our capacity of machining section will significantly increase.
